Odor/Scent Theory Fundamentals

This course covers the basics of odor/scent movement in exterior environments. Understanding these concepts help to shape search strategy and deciphering your dogs change of behavior. We will cover the effects of microclimates, terrain, and time of day have on odor/scent movement, the signs of a stable and unstable air and the different types of odor/scent movement and how to recognize them in interior or urban environments.
